What Signee is

One workspace from the first sentence to the signed renewal

Signee is AI contract management software for business teams. You describe a deal in one sentence, and Signee drafts the agreement, routes it for internal approval, collects legally binding electronic signatures and tracks renewal and notice dates after signing.

How an agreement moves

Four statuses, one record, no lost versions

Every agreement in Signee moves through the same four steps. Each step is a screen you use every day, not a separate tool to buy and connect.

  1. 1 Draft
  2. 2 Approve
  3. 3 Sign
  4. 4 Track

1 Draft

Draft the agreement from one sentence or a CRM deal

Write what you agreed the way you would say it to a colleague: who it is with, what they buy, the fee, the term and the notice period. Signee picks the matching template, fills the key terms, writes the clauses in plain English and highlights anything it could not find, such as a missing notice period or an unnamed signer. On the Business plan the same fields come straight from the HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce deal, so nobody retypes a company name or a price.

  • Templates for SaaS subscriptions, MSAs, SOWs, mutual NDAs, consulting and order forms
  • Your own templates with variables and optional clauses
  • Missing field check before anything leaves the workspace

See how the AI contract generator turns a sentence into a full agreement.

2 Approve

Approvals follow your rules instead of an email thread

Decide once who has to look at what. A discount above a threshold goes to the head of sales, a contract value above a limit goes to finance, a changed liability clause goes to legal. Signee routes the draft to the right people in order, records each decision with a timestamp and only unlocks sending when every required approval is in. Routine agreements that match the template go straight out.

  • Rules by contract value, discount or changed clause
  • Approver chains with a recorded decision for every step
  • Comments and versions kept on the agreement itself

Approval rules are explained on the page about our contract workflow software with examples.

3 Sign

Signed in a day, without chasing anyone

Send the approved version to every signer in the right order. Signers open an email link, review the document on any phone or laptop and sign without creating an account. Signee sends reminders on a schedule you choose, stops the link on the expiry date, and seals the final PDF with an audit trail certificate that lists every view, consent and signature with time, IP address and a document hash.

  • Signing order, reminders and expiry dates
  • No account or seat needed for signers
  • Audit trail certificate attached to every signed PDF

Signing order, reminders and the certificate are covered in detail on the page about our electronic signature software for business agreements.

4 Track

Every renewal and notice date is on someone's calendar

The moment an agreement is signed, Signee reads the start date, end date, renewal terms, notice period and payment terms and stores them with the record. The owner gets an email 90, 60 and 30 days before each notice deadline, and the renewal view lists what renews next with its value. After signature, workflows can update the CRM deal, notify a channel, create a task or call your webhook.

  • Key dates extracted from the signed document
  • Alerts 90, 60 and 30 days before notice deadlines
  • Searchable repository with every agreement and its history

Read how contract renewal tracking reads notice periods and alerts the owner.

Enter four numbers about how your team handles agreements today. The result uses only what you type, so you can show it to whoever approves the budget.

How to read the result

The calculator does not guess how much of this time Signee removes for your team. That depends on your templates and approval rules. It shows the size of the work that Signee automates: filling agreements from the CRM, routing approvals, reminding signers and reading renewal dates. Every tracked agreement in Signee gets alerts 90, 60 and 30 days before its notice deadline.

For comparison, the Business plan with 10 users, CRM merge, approval rules and the renewal pipeline costs 888 USD a year billed yearly. If one renewal you would otherwise miss is worth more than that, the plan has paid for itself.

Compared honestly

Signee does the whole agreement, not only the signature

Here is how Signee compares with the two best known tools and with the way most teams still work. Competitor details come from their public pricing pages in October 2026 and change over time.

What changes for the head of sales, the COO and the CFO

We do not publish made up return on investment figures. These are the mechanisms behind the result, and you can check each one in the product.

Time saved

A contract goes from CRM deal to signature without retyping. Approvals reach the right person by rule, so nobody waits for a reply all thread to settle.

Money protected

Renewal and notice deadlines are alerted 90, 60 and 30 days ahead. Discounts and clause changes above your limits cannot go out without approval.

Risk reduced

Approved templates and clause fallbacks, a tamper evident audit trail on every signed PDF, roles and single sign on on the Company plan.

Cost you can predict

Flat plans with users included, AI drafting included, and no envelope overage. Every price and limit is on the pricing page.

Integrations

Works with the CRM and tools your team already uses

Agreements start where the deal lives and report back when they are signed. CRM merge, workflows, webhooks and the API are part of the Business and Company plans, with no extra connector fees.

  • HubSpot

Connect with OAuth, pick a deal and merge company, contact, amount and dates into any template. The deal stage updates when the agreement is signed.

  • Pipedrive

Pull deal and organization fields into the draft, and move the deal forward automatically after the last signature.

  • Salesforce

Map opportunity and account fields to template variables, so order forms and MSAs start from the record your team already keeps.

  • Slack and email

Post a message to a channel or email a team when an agreement is approved, signed, declined or close to its notice date.

  • Webhooks

Receive a signed event with the agreement, parties and key dates, and start billing, onboarding or provisioning in your own systems.

  • REST API

Create agreements from templates, send them for signature and read status from your product. 1,000 calls a day on Business, 10,000 on Company.

Using another CRM? Upload a CSV and map its columns to template variables. Developers can read the contract API and webhooks reference and the guide to contract automation software built on top of it.

Who it is for

Built for the people who send, approve and renew agreements

Signee works the same way for a five person agency and for a 150 person software company. What changes is how many people draft, how many approve and how many agreements renew each month.

Small agency team reviewing a printed client proposal with a pricing table at a studio worktable

Sales and RevOps teams

You send twenty to a hundred order forms, MSAs and SOWs a month. Signee fills them from the deal, routes discounts for approval and updates the deal stage on signature, all inside one contract management system instead of four tabs.

Agencies and consultancies

Every new client needs a proposal and a service agreement, and every retainer renews. Start from the contract templates library, send a priced proposal with proposal software that becomes the contract on acceptance, and let Signee remind you before the retainer renews.

Operations and finance

You own vendor and customer contracts and get blamed when an auto renewal slips through. Keep every signed agreement in the contract repository, import older contracts on the Company plan, and see every notice date ahead of time.

In-house counsel and legal ops

Stop reviewing every routine NDA. Approved templates and approval rules handle the standard cases, while contract review software flags risky clauses in the agreements the other side sends you.

Founders and small teams

You do not have a legal team or a six week rollout. Signee is contract management software for small business that you set up in an afternoon and pay for monthly or yearly.

Product engineers

Your app needs to send an agreement when a customer upgrades or a partner joins. Create, send and track agreements through the contract API and react to signed events with webhooks.

More examples by team and agreement type are collected on the use cases page.

Questions

Straight answers before you subscribe

The questions buyers ask most often about legal validity, AI drafting, data and billing.

Anything else? Write to [email protected] and you get an answer from the team that builds Signee.

Is an electronic signature from Signee legally binding
Yes, for most business agreements. In the United States the ESIGN Act and UETA give electronic signatures the same effect as handwritten ones when the signer consents to sign electronically. In the EU and UK, eIDAS rules say a simple electronic signature cannot be refused as evidence just because it is electronic. Every signed PDF carries an audit trail certificate with timestamps, IP addresses, email verification and a document hash. Signee does not issue qualified electronic signatures (QES), and some documents such as wills and certain court and real estate documents are excluded by law.
Is a contract drafted by Signee legal advice
No. Signee provides templates and drafting assistance, not legal advice, and it does not replace a lawyer for unusual or high stakes deals. Drafts come from structured templates with clauses written for common business agreements, and the AI fills in the terms from your sentence. You review every draft, your approval rules decide who must check it, and nothing is sent until you send it.
How is Signee different from DocuSign or PandaDoc
DocuSign eSignature collects signatures on a document you already wrote, priced per user with an envelope allowance. PandaDoc is strong on sales proposals and is priced per seat with several features as add-ons. Signee covers the whole agreement: it drafts from one sentence or a CRM deal, runs approvals, collects signatures and then tracks renewal and notice dates, on flat plans with users and AI included.
What happens to my data, and is it used to train AI models
Agreements are encrypted in transit and at rest, including backups. AI features process only the text needed for the task you start, through a provider bound by a data processing contract, and your agreements are never used to train AI models. Paying workspaces can request a data processing agreement from [email protected].
Do my signers need an account
No. Signers receive an email link, review the agreement on any device and sign without creating an account or paying for a seat. Only the people in your team who draft, approve and send agreements count as users.
Can I import contracts we already signed elsewhere
Yes, on the Company plan you can import up to 500 signed contracts a month. Signee reads the parties, dates, renewal terms and notice periods from each file, so older agreements get the same renewal alerts as new ones.
Does it work with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive
Yes. On the Business and Company plans you connect your CRM, merge deal and company fields into templates, and update the deal stage automatically when the agreement is signed. Other CRMs work through a CSV upload or the API.
What counts as a document
A document is one agreement sent for signature, whatever its length and however many signers it has. Drafting and editing are not limited. Starter includes 30 documents a month, Business 150 and Company 600. Usage counts when you send, and deleting a document later does not give the quota back.
What happens when I reach a plan limit
You can keep drafting and editing. Sending more documents or creating more AI drafts waits for the next billing month, or you can move to a higher plan at any time and pay the prorated difference right away. You see your usage in the app, and Signee warns you at 80 percent.
Can I cancel anytime, and what does yearly billing save
Yes. You cancel from the billing portal and keep access until the end of the paid period. Yearly billing is half the monthly price: Starter 24 USD instead of 49, Business 74 USD instead of 149 and Company 249 USD instead of 499 per month.
Is there an API and webhooks
Yes, on the Business and Company plans. The REST API creates agreements from templates, sends them for signature and reads their status, with 1,000 calls a day on Business and 10,000 on Company. Webhooks notify your systems when an agreement is viewed, signed or declined.

Send your next agreement with Signee

Draft it from one sentence, approve it, send it for signature and let Signee watch the renewal date. Plans start at 24 USD a month billed yearly.
